WHAT FLORAL WATER IS

Floral water is the condensate that remains after the extraction of an essential oil by water or steam distillation.

When essential oils are produced, not all of the aromatic and healing principles held within the plant are actually captured in the oil. Certain components are hydrophilic, which means they dissolve into water, and this produces what is known as flower water.

In other words: floral water is distilled water infused with the essence of flowers. For that reason they are often known as essential waters.

CHAMOMILE

When used topically, chamomile exhibits antibiotic and anti-inflammatory activity. It cleanses the pores and reduces redness / irritation. It’s soothing and calming properties make it ideal for people with very sensitive itchy or blotchy skin.
