For centuries, clay has been used for medicinal and cosmetic purposes in many cultures. Nowadays, clay face masks are used as one of the most effective natural treatments for skin problems.
Clay can help remove impurities, release toxins and irritant substances that can cause problems for your skin.
Fullers earth clay contains various minerals, including magnesium, quartz, silica, iron, calcium, calcite and dolomite.
It has exceptional oil-absorbing, cleansing and antiseptic properties and can be used as an effective exfoliant as it draws out impurities from the skin.
FULLERS EARTH CLAY
Fullers earth clay is a type of white clay and is used as a skin lightening agent. It contains silicon, iron and magnesium.
This type of clay is suitable for oily or acne prone skin complexions as well as for blemishes. It efficiently absorbs the excess oil from the skin.
MAKE YOUR OWN CLAY MASK
- Mix a small amount of the clay with water or one of our floral waters until it forms into a smooth paste.
- Apply the clay mask on the face or body and leave for approx 10 to 15 minutes, or until the paste dries.
- Rinse with lukewarm water and pat the face dry with a soft towel.
- You can even add essential oils to the clay mask for better results.
